WILL EVERYONE PLEASE STOP WHAT THEY’RE DOING AND GO BUY/READ SPIDER-MAN BLUE? RIGHT NOW. No question the greatest Spider-Man graphic novel of all time. Classic 60’s Peter Parker dealing with Gwen Stacy and Mary Jane, Harry and Flash, Rhino, Scorpion, Green Goblin, the whole gauntlet. This is really the story of a young Peter growing up and falling in love with Gwen Stacy. Jeph Loeb (Story) and Tim Sale (Art) combine amazing storytelling with breathtaking visuals. BLUE is the reason people fall in love with Spider-Man. Please please everyone go read this right now. I’ll come to your house and read it to you if need be - it’s kind of amazing. And with the newest Spider-Man reboot is out right now (LINK TO AMAZING SPIDERMAN REVIEW) it’s especially appropriate.
